Pre-Season Booking

Advanced booking takes place 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the new season. This is available for Life Members and Annual Members. As Life and Annual members you will receive your film list at least 10 days before the start of the new season. Here is how the priority for advanced booking works:

Priority Advanced Booking – Life Members

As a Life Member you are able to book before everybody else. This takes place one week before the season starts, generally on a Friday, 3.00pm to 9.00pm. You can book by phone or post (see how to book for more information). If you miss this slot you are able to call throughout the weekend and leave a message with your request and we will get back to you with availability.

Advanced Booking – Annual Members

The Advanced booking week begins on the Monday before the season starts.


The Box Office opens its doors between 8.30am and 12.00pm (be warned, people begin to queue at 6.30am!) at The Electric Picture Palace, during this time we cannot take telephone applications. If you cannot be here in person to book your tickets, then you can send a postal application, although be aware that we won’t begin to deal with these until that afternoon. The earlier you send the application the better chance you have of getting what you want, you can send the application as soon as you receive the film list.


The Box Office is open at 1 Barnaby Green between 10.30am and 12.00pm, telephone applications are not taken during this time. If you wish to book by phone then please do so after 2pm, from this point we run a 24hr booking service by phone, please leave a message and we will get back to you.
